Contrary to a lot of negative opinions here, we had a great time. Infact we missed our booking for 1030 for xyz reason , yet at 1130 when we arrived , we were shown a table quickly, without much ado. Perhaps coz it was a Tuesday.. and maybe not as packed as it would be on the weekends.. but fairly full just the same. Food and cocktails were exellent , and the service good too.. there was always someone around to help out. The dj stole the show.. really got the party going. We had a great time. Fire and ice dessert with booze was exellent .well worth it.

1. SWIFT

Upgraded the steering wheel to the Zxi trim of the Type 1 swift with mounted controls (only volume, Seek, Mute and Mode buttons). Could have installed the Gen2 steering wheel as you did (which serves more than mine and looks better maybe) but I am a big fan of retrofit mods as much as possible. Getting the clockspring & the new steering wheel from Boodmo was easy. The pain was in sourcing the hornpad(with airbag) & the 6 pin JST connector (although it was available online at Robu.in but the website seemed to fail everytime I tried placing an order). Finally, I scouted the second hand spares Market in Kolkata (Mullick Bazaar) and was able to procure the hornpad(with Airbag), the SX4 wiper combination switch and the entire wiring harness from the SX4 steering rack region for just 800 Rupees. Finally, installed everything and works fine.

2] ERTIGA

1. Space – Earlier was a tight fit as a 7-seater. This one is much better and they have improved space everywhere. Space for the middle row and last row is better now. If you adjust the first 2 rows properly, you can actually sit 3 adults (Average height), one behind each other in 3 rows. Last row is much better now and 3 kids or 2 adults can easily fit in for a couple of hours. It has a better boot too. With all seats up, you can actually fit in 3 small bags. Under tray also you get lots of space to keep small things.
2. Suspension – This is vastly improved. Earlier one was average but this one is really good. You hardly feel any potholes or bad road inside. My friend who is a BMW and Honda CRV user also appreciated that this car has a very good suspension. That says it all I guess.
3. Engine – My last one was diesel and this one is petrol, so can’t compare. But this 1.5 L engine is really good. It’s smooth till 3k rpm, gets a little noisy after that but nothing to complain about. It has sufficient power to carry 5 people + lots of luggage or 7-8 people.
